Christopher graduated from Belmont University with his bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre in 2009. Prior to Belmont, he attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, OK where he received an associate degree in Classical Voice.

Christopher has since worked for many theaters as an actor, singer, and dancer. In 2011, he was hired as a performer and tour guide for Sight and Sound Theater in Branson, MO. Over the years, he discovered a calling to work on the other side of the curtain as a deck and lighting technician. With a broad knowledge of theatre and an understanding of Branson’s tourism, Chris is excited to bring what he has learned to Ponca City.

"Theatre is the art form of the present: it exists only in the present, and then it's gone."

-Simon McBurney

The Poncan Theatre is proud to still offer a wide variety of live performances throughout the entire year. We invite you to come visit our theatre, and step through time itself. When you visit the Poncan Theatre, you will be transported back to a time of song and dance, of black and white movies and of hope, and awe and wonder. The Poncan Theatre has hosted entertainers since 1927 and was then, and still is the jewel of downtown Ponca City.
