The Poncan Theatre Presents: JASON PETTY: HANK WILLIAMS-THE LONESOME TOUR

Jason Petty began portraying the legend, Hank Williams, on country music's biggest stage in 1996...the world famous Ryman Auditorium, in the critically acclaimed musical biography, Lost Highway. After two years, he began touring the US and Canada with the show. In 2002-3, the show went to the New York and made its Off Broadway debut. Jason earned Off Broadway's highest acting award, The Obie, for his riveting portrayal of the musical genius and tortured soul, Hank Williams.

This will be an evening that you will never forget. More than a tribute. Legendary songs and legendary stories of the most influential man in country music history. There's only one who can bring him to life.

"Britain's Finest" Beatles Tribute To Make First Appearance at Poncan Theatre

Britain’s Finest–The Complete Beatle Experience is bringing their critically-acclaimed show to the Poncan Theatre, 104 E. Grand Ave, Ponca City, on Friday, October 28. Info: (580) 765-0943. The group's show on the 28th will mark the half-way point on their Midwest Tour with 11 shows in 11 cities across Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas. The tour follows their recent successful first-time appearance at International Beatleweek in Liverpool. One of the most authentic Beatles tribute bands to emerge in the last 10 years, Britain's Finest continues to rapidly gain national and international attention with their accurate recreations of iconic eras of the Beatles.

Phoenix secretary Marion Crane, on the lam after stealing $40,000 from her employer in order to run away with her boyfriend, Sam Loomis, is overcome by exhaustion during a heavy rainstorm. Traveling on the back roads to avoid the police, she stops for the night at the ramshackle Bates Motel and meets the polite but highly strung proprietor Norman Bates, a young man with an interest in taxidermy and a difficult relationship with his mother.

You may purchase tickets three ways:

  1. At Theatre Office: Our theatre office is located at 104 E. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK. Tickets may be purchased Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. (the office is located to the east of the main theatre entrance.)
  2. By Phone: Call 580-765-0943. Office hours are 1:00 to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
  3. Night of Performance: Tickets may be purchased one hour before each performance at the theatre office, east side of main entrance.

Exchanges: Exchanges subject to availability.
