Two Historic Downtown Ponca City

Landmarks with Only One BIG Difference

Lost forever in 1974.  Saved by YOU.

YOU are the difference!

The Poncan Theatre is:

  • a historic treasure and the heart of the performing arts in Ponca City
  • a stand-alone 501c-3 non-profit
  • operated by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of citizens like YOU
    NOT owned by the city
  • depending on YOU to help fulfill her mission as a community-based performing arts center

Can YOU imagine the cost of maintaining a historic theatre built in 1927?

We can, and we face it every day. But we can’t imagine trying to face it without YOU. Please become a Friend of the Poncan so that, unlike the Arcade, we will never have to stand looking at a parking lot, wondering what might have been done to save her.

Please take the time to complete the FRIENDS OF THE PONCAN MEMBERSHIP FORM on the next page and submit it.

Someone from the Poncan Theatre will call you and explain the details of the FRIENDS OF THE PONCAN MEMBERSHIP.

You may also CLICK HERE for a printable form and bring the completed form to the Poncan Theatre or call us at 580-765-0943 during our regular business hours.
